Great! I am glad all 5 of you did manage to post your answer to the question I posed on you. Now, have a new look at what your mates wrote and give your opinion. Do you agree with everyone else? Do you disagree with a specific idea? Is there any correction (language, organisation, content, etc) you'd like to make? Go ahead and shoot!

First activity!
We just read and analysed our first text ("Day Million" by Frederik Pohl) which combines some of the typical features of contemporary short stories. It is Science Fiction in essence and, as such, it takes us to a distant future, 10,000 years ahead! Yet, how is the text related to the present? How does it relate to us, here and now? How would you define reality (as briefly as possible) using this story as a reference point?
Please, answer these questions with short answers. Notice they are basically personal questions, so you can come to ALMOST ANY conclusion, so... pay close attention to the way you answer them. Make sure you use language as effectively as possible.
Post your answers before midnight April 4th. Let us try to give some feed-back (to the group or any specific member during Easter, and let us get ready for discussion on Tuesday April 14th.
Thanks for participating, see you after Easter, enjoy yourselves and... READ!
ps.- Needless to say you have to start reading the first poems in the handout!!!
